Mr Rogers would have been proud had he seen our Community come together today for our 7th Annual CommUNITY Day celebration! What a Wonderful day it was!
The Unity Group of Clairton, which is made up of various members such as Clairton Chamber of Commerce, Community Economic Development Corporation of Clairton, Clairton City Council, Clairton City School District, and many of our Churches, sponsored this event today.
The weather was gorgeous, the turnout was great. Both young and old enjoyed themselves.
While people enjoyed the multitude of FREE things to do, see, and eat, one of the most impressive things was the many volunteer organizations that were there to help those who need it. The Unity Group itself is helping bring UNITY to Clairton by bringing us all together in one place to learn more about each other in a positive way.
Thank You, Unity Group...and Thank You to all those who participated in making this event as great as it was!
Looking forward to next year! Maybe we can have one in the Spring too??? :)
