Open Your Heart to a Senior (www.openyourhearttoasenior.org) is an initiative funded by the United Way with a goal to match Allegheny County seniors in need of assistance with caring volunteers.
Open Your Heart to a Senior is a collaborative of six local agencies and volunteers are needed to provide the following types of help to seniors in Clairton:
-rides to medical appointments
-help with grocery shopping
-friendly visiting and friendly phone calls
-leaf raking and snow shoveling
-Meals on Wheels meal deliveries
