Clairton ranked among the best community for music education

The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation recognized Clairton City School District among the best communities for music education.

With more than 2,000 districts and schools participating in a 2013-14 survey administered by the Institute for Educational Research and Public Service, the Best Communities for Music Education program tests their commitment to supporting music in schools.

Teachers shared details of funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, and community support.
